What happens when there’s no separation between church and state

Interesting article by Ron Grossman over at the Chicago Tribune.

Be careful what you wish for… you might get it.  Mr. Santorum would do well to keep in mind that the “wall of separation” is there just as much to protect religious freedom from government meddling as it is to protect secular government from religious intervention.
