Prayer in public schools: still confusing

September 6, 2012

The issue about prayer in public school still seems to be confusing for some.

In summary: it is no business of government bureaucrats to instruct children in when, how or whether to pray.  That’s why we don’t let public school officials and teachers force anyone to pray while at school.  The children can pray on their own, as long as they are not disruptive to the educational environment, and that’s how it should be.  There’s no reason to have the teachers lead it and coerce children to follow.
